Tom Hollander is a star who started his journey in the Theatre. Trained by National Youth Theatre, he never looked back after his first major role in the drama called “The Threepenny Opera”. Tom has worked in Theatres, Movies, Television, as a Narrator in multiple audiobooks, and has given voice in the Video game version of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
Tom Hollander on Filming in Italy
While talking about his experience shooting in Italy on the Kelly & Mark show, Tom said he loved shooting in Italy for “The White Lotus” All the co-stars had a very good bond with each other. They enjoyed every movement in Italy especially when everyone had every second day off. They used to drive along when they were not working. The climate was cold and not as warm as it looked in the movie. They had a craft service in the hotel, were the rate for them was not as same as the other guests so there was no room service. He loved the Italian food.
Tom Hollander received Tom Holland’s Paycheck
On Late Night with Seth Meyers, Tom confirmed that many times people get him wrong and feel he is Tom Holland. Sometimes people come to him and say their kids want to meet him but in mind, Tom knows they are mistaking him with Tom Holland. People call their kids and then the kids start saying where is Tom Holland he is not Tom Holland. He and Holland had the same agency long back ago and the agency accounts department made a big mistake by sending Tom Hollands Avenger’s first box bonus in his account. Tom also recalled it was a 7 figure amount and in his career, he hadn’t seen this big amount. He also said Tom Holland was 20 years old that time he was making this much money.
It changed the Future – Tom on His first baby
Tom Hollander was very emotional while talking about his first kid, he said he is 6 months old now, and having him changed the future. He likes to spend time with him and he also sings songs for him. He wants him to speak back but doesn’t want to ask him back with difficult questions(On a lighter note). He plays with him and had staring a competition with him, Tom wins the competition with him and a 6-month-old kid doesn’t know he is into the competition, so funny.
