Painkiller Netflix Series – A Much Awaited Review

Painkiller Netflix web series is currently running on Netflix and we are here to review the series and guide you if it is worth watching or not. To be precise it is worth wasting your time or not

Painkiller is a new crime drama series that premiered on Netflix, This is a limited series which means the story will end in this season only there won’t be another season and the good part is you don’t have to wait for a new season. In all, there are 6 episodes of this series and every episode is timed for 40 to 45 mins long.

Storyline – Painkiller Netflix

The story is about American history’s biggest health crisis, this series covers the complete story of the crises from beginning to end. You can see how a Pharma Company of America rapidly intoxicated people of America and in this epidemic how many people lost their lives who benefited or got loss from this act and how rapidly this intoxication spread to know this you will have to watch the series.

Painkiller – Our Views

On the opioid epidemic, there is already a mindblowing series called DopeSick available on Hulu and Disney Plus. This series was released in 2021 and viewers who have watched DopeSick movies will have nothing new in this series. The viewers who have not watched DopeSick movies we would recommend watching this series instead of Painkiller as the DopeSick storyline is more in-depth and emotional and also gives a different level of attachment to the series.

This series is completely an adult series as you will be seeing adult scenes and also foul language in the series. We would also recommend watching this with your family

Talking about this series it is based on a real incident and the story is very shocking, you will be very surprised how a Pharma company played with the lives of people for their benefit without caring about anyone’s life. You will feel sad for those people and their families who have lost their lives in this act of inhumanity. The story of this series will keep you engaged throughout the series but the actual problem of this series is creators have not shown the whole incident in detail, they have just kept on pushing the story quickly.

If the story was shown in detail and each aspect of the series had a deeper and more detailed approach this series would have gained more audience attachment. This is the main reason why this series won’t be able to match the level and the story won’t be so gripping compared to DopeStick.

Still, this series is decent and surely is a one-time watch for the audience. Overall the acting, music, and picturization are good. We would rate Painkiller 7 out of 10 because for us this is a decent crime drama that is based on real events and we would want everyone to watch it.
