Mannix title name was not the first choice

Originally the series was going to be called ‘Interact’. Mannix in series initially worked for a high-tech company so the name was thought around that only. Finally, the name was changed and given as it is called today because Lucille Ball wouldn’t have been able to convince to keep the show for next season if it had been named after the 1984-inspired LA based company. Just imagine the name of this iconic show as Interact doesn’t suit right.
