Euphoria Season 3 – Why its taking so long?
It is been 2 years now since we have seen anything new from Euphoria, this long time for any popular TV show is mostly not more than 1 year. Currently as per today’s situation there has been no filming done yet, it will be in production in 2024 and the series will be premier in 2025 (this confirmed by Francesca Orsi the head of Drama HBO). As per this statement by Francesca, 3 years will be completed if we can see anything new from the series.
The main reason for this delay which we think can be its cast, Every actor in the series has done extremely well and everyone is so popular now they might not get the same time for the next season shoot. Every top actor is busy now. The second reason could be the strike that happened last year, The 2023 strike of writers put a hold on the entire industry and every series was affected by this at least by 120 days.
Casts not available for Euphoria Season 3
Last year from the cast we lost a very talented actor and a very important character from the cast Angus Cloud who used to play the role of Fesco. Angus Cloud died because of an accidental overdose, he lost his life right after a month of his father’s death. On this, his Mother released a statement stating Augus was going through lot of pain Physically and mentally. Who will fill in his role we need to see that.
Dominic Fike who played the role of Elliot Hopped, he recently spoke to Variety where he was talking about his experience struggling with sobriety in real life and also playing a character that was also struggling with Soberity. He also tried hiring a coach who would give him training to be sober but as he cannot twin in with the coach he then has to stop this coaching. He was not able to twin in because he thought that the coach has never faced the same problem that he was going through, so the coach could not relate it. So mostly he will be skipping Season 3.
